Thomas Faed (1826 - 1900) was the son of a millwright and the brother of John Faed. He specialised in painting Scottish peasant life. He was very popular in his day and his pictures commanded high prices, but went blind in the last seven years of his life.

I love a small oil on board entitled, "Teatime", by Thomas Faed. I would like to know more about this painting. Any suggestions?
